I’ve always loved breaking big ideas down, connecting the dots, and helping people move from “I have no idea where to start” to “We’re doing this.”
That’s how I built Caring Lotus, a multi-million-dollar care business focused on connection. We grew to over 100 staff, all while putting people first. Along the way, I’ve won awards, been named a finalist in leadership and entrepreneurship categories, and built systems that deliver real results.
But life threw me a curveball that shaped what I do today.
After living and working in the US, I moved back to Australia thinking my ties to America were done. Turns out, the IRS didn’t see it that way. I found myself tangled in US tax obligations, penalties I didn’t know existed, and red tape that made no sense.
Worse, I realised my son, born in the US, was caught in the same system. We were at risk of being hit with massive fines, and no one was talking about it.
Once I figured it out, I knew others needed the same clarity.
So now, part of my mission is simple:
Help Australians who are unknowingly still tied to the US tax system understand what’s going on
Break down the jargon
Connect them to the right legal and tax experts to fix it before penalties hit
When I’m not doing that, I help leaders, entrepreneurs, and business owners bring big, messy ideas to life, connecting them with the people, strategy, and support they need to move forward.
